A blood vampire feeds on the blood of living beings to sustain its immortality and vitality. In contrast, an energy vampire drains the emotional or mental energy of others for sustenance.

Energy vampires do not consume blood but rather feed on the attention, empathy, or emotions of their victims, often leaving them feeling exhausted or depleted after interactions. While energy vampires do not have the superhuman abilities that blood vampires possess (i.e., enhanced strength, speed, senses and transformation into a bat), they are able to survive sunlight and can drain other vampires.

Spongebob Squarepants (TV Show)

Plankton is the owner of the Chum Bucket, a notoriously unprofitable fast food restaurant in Bikini Bottom. Its sole competitor, the Krusty Krab, is located directly opposite the restaurant and enjoys great commercial success. It is famous for its signature Krabby Patty burger, a recipe with immense popularity among the residents of Bikini Bottom. The formula is a trade secret. Despite Plankton's numerous attempts, he has yet to succeed in stealing the Krabby Patty secret formula.

Inside Out (Film)

Emotions are personified as characters-Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear. Emotions function as an administrative and corporate team within one's mind, managing their reactions and responses to various situations. The Emotions operate from Headquarters (in the brain), where one Emotion takes on a leadership or central driver role. Each Emotion has a distinct function and is, to varying degrees, included in the corporate governance of the mind.

Glee (TV Series)

The Glee Club at McKinley High School primarily exists to enter competitive national show choir competitions where members sing and dance. Glee Club members are often subject to social exclusion by their peers, including receiving 'slushie facials' when walking the halls of McKinley. The Cheerios are McKinley High's award-winning cheerleading squad, coached by Sue Sylvester, who is notorious for her demanding coaching style.
